Meet the doctors behind patient care at Ellington Eyecare. Our doctors are here to oversee your care every step of the way and are driven to provide you with the best, personalized care.
Dr. Jacqueline Evans is a licensed Optometrist who lives in Denver, Colorado, and practices as an Independent Doctor of Optometry. Born and raised in San Mateo, California, Dr. Evans completed her undergraduate studies in Biological Anthropology at the University of California Los Angeles, earning a Bachelor of Science degree. She then went on to obtain her Doctor of Optometry degree at the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. She began her career practicing in corporate Optometry for over 6 years in the Denver area before joining the Digitaloptometrics team as a remote tele-optometric provider in 2019. In 2021, she started Ellington Eyecare PLLC. Dr. Evans specializes in contact lenses, dry eye treatment, as well as comprehensive optometric care. She is currently a member of the American Optometric Association and looks forward to integrating innovative telemedicine tools to aid in the advancement of global optometry. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, and spending quality time with her husband and son.
Dr. Saher Sayed's extensive experience in corporate and private practice enables her to understand patient needs comprehensively. Her commitment to providing exceptional eye care is evident through her use of advanced technology, ensuring the best possible vision for every patient. It is deeply rewarding for her to see patients experience the world with enhanced clarity. Outside of her dedication to optometry, Dr. Sayed values spending time with her husband and three sons. Dr. Sayed's interest in eye care began when she required glasses at the age of 10. Now, with a Doctorate of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry, she brings this lifelong passion to her patients daily.
Dr. Johnson grew up in Santa Barbara, CA and attended UCLA for her undergraduate studies in Physiological Science. Dr. Johnson went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of California Berkeley where she also worked as an instructor in biology science courses. The passion she developed for teaching is what gives her the greatest joy as an Optometrist because Dr. Johnson loves to spend extra time educating her patients. For over ten years she worked in a corporate optometry practice before starting her career in tele-optometry. In her free time she enjoys hiking, water sports, consuming dark chocolate, and spending time with her husband and two sons.
